The Toronto District School Board created this guide to support educators and parents and guardians in having meaningful conversations with kids and teens about vaping and phone use.
In this guide, you will find instructions for how to communicate with parents about these issues by email, where and how to place posters, and approved graphics you can easily add to your own resources.
Emailing Parents
Parents’ lives are hectic, often juggling work, commuting, family issues, and after-school and weekend activities.
The most effective communication between parent and teacher will be kept to the point, being mindful of their time.
Explain why youth vaping is a concern and link to the landing page.
